The Chiron was unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show in Switzerland and is named after Louis Chiron, a monégasque racecar driver (1899-1979). The 2016 Bugatti Chiron is a French hypercar manufactured by Bugatti based on the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo concept car and acts as the successor to Bugatti’s previous flagship model, the Veyron.
